Our templates are made from high-strength acrylic material or MDF for cost savings. They are laser cut to precise measurements toaccommodate ¼” router bits. Each Christmas Lantern Router Template is cut to exact measurements for standard 5.5” cedar fence pickets. They are 8” tall, which makes centering the template on the picket quick and easy. Each template is roughly 1/4 inch think with some variance from material manufacture.
For best results, we suggest using a ¼” compression flush trim bit and double-sided solid tape. We provide a list of suggested materials with each purchase and a video showing two ways of building our Cedar Fence Picket Jack-O-Lanterns.
