Remove the protective masking before using the template. The masking is left attached during shipping to help protect the clear acrylic.

What can I make?

These templates are primarily intended to help woodworkers create decorative wooden lantern faces without needing a CNC or laser. Wallace Workshop's YouTube tutorial demonstrates how to build the wooden lantern body, including the option to use interchangeable seasonal faces. The acrylic template creates the face cutout only.

Each acrylic router template is made to order in our workshop. Please allow 5–7 business days for production and packaging before your order ships. Shipping transit time is additional.

Before ordering

Router table required: This template is designed for a router mounted in a router table, rather than for use with a handheld router. Use a compatible 1/4-inch flush-trim router bit and follow appropriate router-table safety procedures.

Only the acrylic router template and printed tutorial information are included. Wood, completed wooden face panels, lantern bodies, finished lanterns, routers, router tables, and router bits are not included. Finished projects pictured are examples.
